Chapter resources for incoming Master Gardener™ Trainees

Welcome to the Master Gardener volunteer system, and the Clackamas County Chapter. We have many opportunities to apply and expand gardening interests, knowledge and enthusiasm.  There are great places where you can learn and serve alongside experienced Master Gardeners. Please take some time to look around our website and familiarize yourself with what we have to offer. Information on many of our projects can be found on the right-hand menu → →

Get to know us at our monthly meetings, where you will hear talks from recognized experts on subjects relevant to living and gardening in the Pacific Northwest.  Our meetings also include activities like the Resource Fair, time for “Meet and Greet”,  Seed Swap, and Book Sales.  And the whole family can have summer fun at our September picnic!

Some of the association activities outside meetings include Grow an Extra Row Garden, End of the Oregon Trail Pioneer Garden, Hopkins Demonstration Forest Native Plant Garden, and 10 Minute University.™ See more details below for each activity.

And we host several events open to the public: Garden Discovery Day, Spring Garden Fair, and Fall into Gardening. During these events we offer advice, education, and pH soil testing to home gardeners.

The common thread is there are many venues and choices to serve, learn and have an enjoyable time volunteering alongside association members.  We look forward to getting to know you!
