about us
We are a trusted resource of Oregon State University (OSU) research-based information for sustainable gardening, serving residents of Clackamas County and the Portland Metro region.
We continuously refresh our knowledge to stay informed of current gardening issues and new research findings. We actively reach out to our community in sharing our knowledge.
We support individuals and groups, sharing our interest in gardening through scholarships, grants, and the annual Spring Garden Fair.
We support the OSU Master Gardener Program and Extension Service.

spring garden fair, April 30 – May 1, 2011
The 27th annual Spring Garden Fair promises to be even bigger and better!
In 2010, the Fair hosted 16,593 shoppers at the Canby Event Center & Conference Center (previously called the Canby Fairground). 185 vendors provided a dizzying array of ornamental and edible plants and garden ornaments.
This event is planned and organized by Master Gardeners of Clackamas County — volunteer leaders plan September through May; an additional 300 Master Gardener volunteers work at the Fair during the weekend.
We are committed to this event because it supports local nurseries, garden artists, and the Clackamas County Event Center. Proceeds from the event sustain two full horticultural scholarships at Clackamas Community College and enhance funding for the Metro region’s and statewide Master Gardener Programs.
